UCL Centre for Security and Crime Science

UCL has created Europe’s first holistic security solutions agency by bringing together twenty departments providing specialist expertise across the spectrum of security and crime science.

The mission of the Centre for Security and Crime Science is to bring together innovative thought and leading cross-disciplinary research to deliver “one-step-ahead” solutions to crime and security issues that will benefit society, industry and government.

The CSCS channels this expertise through professional services (including consultancy, collaborative research, seminars and workshops) and advanced education. Its activities are focused on four areas of expertise:
